On Monday 18th June and Monday 4th June, children from years 4, 5 and 6 went on wonderful educational visits to Dalham Hall Stud in Newmarket.
They got to see what the stud does and how the horses are treated (which is like royalty!)
They saw several of the stallions and were very amused by the face pulling and tongue wagging of one in particular! Seeing the stallion Dubawi was amazing – he is a truly stunning horse.
The mares and foals were a little shy, with two of them lying flat out snoozing the day away. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to stroke them this time but just seeing them really was enough of a wow factor!
All in all, both trips were thoroughly enjoyed by all – so much so, we returned a second time with more children!
